Chairwoman of our Board, Michelle Febres made a surprise visit to Williams Park to read to the children and families we serve. Our Story Time at Eden Place program supports efforts to facilitate reading for families throughout South Florida, specifically for Pre-K-1st graders. The children were ecstatic to meet Michelle and very engaged as they interacted with her and one another during the reading.

Reading is an essential aspect of our everyday lives because it’s a fundamental part of how we communicate. Immersing our children in reading helps to foster literacy and create a love of learning.
