OYC Miami and @honeyshineinc continues to grow and expand, and we’re taking our impact even further !
We are proud to announce our official partnership with Broward County Public Schools as we expand OYC Miami programming into Broward County, creating new opportunities for youth and families through our pillars of Education, Health and Wellness, Enrichment and Exposure, Family Services, and Economic Sustainability.
This exciting milestone is made possible through the incredible leadership and support of School Board Member Maura Bulman, Dr. Valerie Wanza, and their dedicated teams, along with Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (@repdws), Mayor @joshlevymayorofhollywoodfl, and @commissioneridelmaquintana of Hollywood.
Together, we are launching our Summer Camp at McNicol Middle School in collaboration with Principal Benka Coker and her incredible team, bringing meaningful programming and experiences directly into the community.

This event serves as a moment to pause and honor the individuals who give their time, energy, and heart to our youth and families.

As a valued partner, supporter, and champion of our work, the NBA Foundation continues to invest in opportunities that strengthen career development and expand access to meaningful resources for our youth. During their visit, our founder Alonzo Mourning led the tour, offering a firsthand look at our programs while sharing the vision and impact that continue to drive our work forward.
With 100 percent of our seniors graduating, it is important for partners like the NBA Foundation to see how their support helps create real pathways to success and long-term opportunity for our youth.

OYC Miami took time to celebrate the heart of our organization, our incredible staff. 💙
Through a weeklong staff appreciation celebration, we honored the dedication, passion, and commitment our team brings each and every day to the more than 5,000 youth and families we serve. From moments of relaxation with massages and acupuncture, to a “Thanks a Latte” café experience, yoga, Hawaiian dance class , staff Olympics, and a fun-filled movie day, the week was all about pouring back into those who pour so much into our community.
It is their consistency, care, and belief in our mission that continues to move OYC Miami forward. This was a small way to say thank you for the big impact they make every single day. 💙

Presented by Christy Martin of @TerraGroupMiami, whose leadership and continued commitment to community help create meaningful pathways for impact, this fundraising event supports Camp Honey Shine, a six week summer program held at the beautiful @carrolltonsacredheart where girls grow through mentorship, leadership, and sisterhood.
