The Class of 2026 has completed their high school journey and is stepping boldly into a future filled with purpose, leadership, and endless possibilities. 🎓
Franteria Dantus-Cooper has set the standard for academic excellence, leadership, and service throughout her high school journey.
Graduating as the valedictorian of Miami Norland Senior High School, Franteria earned her Associate of Arts degree from Miami Dade College while completing more than 700 hours of community service and maintaining an unwavering commitment to her future.
This fall, she will continue her academic journey at Howard University.

Through mentorship, leadership opportunities, and transformative experiences, Franteria has continued to grow into an extraordinary young woman whose future is filled with limitless potential. We are beyond proud of all she has accomplished and excited for all that lies ahead. 💙

A’Dereon Dunson has consistently demonstrated excellence, discipline, and determination throughout his high school journey.
Graduating in the top 1% of his class from Booker T. Washington Senior High School, A’Dereon earned more than 30 dual enrollment credits through Miami Dade College while consistently challenging himself with honors level coursework all four years.
His hard work and academic success earned him more than $160,000 in scholarships, including the prestigious Bright Futures Scholarship.
This fall, he will continue his academic journey at Florida State University where he plans to major in nursing.

@kpmg KPMG continues to be a valued partner in supporting literacy and learning at OYC Miami through their ongoing commitment to volunteerism and youth engagement. 💙📚
During this year’s experience, volunteers spent meaningful time reading with our students and leading creative, hands-on activities that encouraged imagination, learning, and fun. Students also had the opportunity to select three books to take home, along with backpacks filled with arts, educational, and enrichment items to continue the experience beyond the classroom.
Moments like these help foster a love for reading while creating positive and lasting memories for our youth. Thank you, KPMG, for continuing to invest your time, energy, and support into the students and families we serve.

OYC Miami was proud to host @miamifoundation Quarter 2 Scholarship Convening, bringing together local nonprofits for a day centered around collaboration, opportunity, and impact. 💙
