OYC Miami high school students got an up-close look at how things move behind the scenes during their career exploration tour of the Coca-Cola Distribution Center. From logistics to operations, they learned how every role plays a part in keeping the system running.
This experience supports our commitment to career development through enrichment and exposure—offering our students a front-row seat to real-world opportunities that can shape their future.

OYC Miami’s latest Band of Brothers Kickback titled Generation Cease Fire was a powerful moment where young men learned how to move from being victims to becoming leaders who stand for peace.
As part of our immersive program designed to shape strong, thoughtful young men, this session dove deep into the topic with honest conversation around gun safety, life-changing decisions, and stepping up with purpose. With support from Belen Jesuit volunteers, this dialogue encouraged honesty, growth, and unity.
We’re proud to hold space for real conversations that inspire young men to rise, lead, and build a more peaceful future.

Today on Veterans Day, we salute the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country with honor and courage. 🇺🇸
We are especially proud of OYC Miami program alum Angie Thomas, now serving in the US Navy, who recently returned to visit our center and reconnect with CEO @i_amt4l_brown . Navy Service Member Angie represents the strength, purpose, and promise we strive to nurture in every young person who walks through our doors.

OYC Miami’s last Super Saturday: Trunk or Treat Edition was filled with creativity, learning, and community fun. Children came dressed in their favorite costumes and enjoyed activities like a themed maze, face painting, music, and a photo booth. Our amazing partners joined in to make the day even more special with decorated trunks, treats, and joyful energy that brought smiles to every face.
We also continued our STEM and educational enrichment programs, keeping our focus on learning through exploration and engagement. At OYC Miami, every Super Saturday is an opportunity to inspire, connect, and build stronger communities through education and wellness.

🎧 Creativity is flowing and inspiration is in full volume at the We The Best Music Lab at OYC Miami!
Students are exploring the world of sound in new ways—learning about sensory music, chorus, and rhythm while creating custom beats and discovering the power of expression through music. This creative journey is guided by Guitars Over Guns and powered by the incredible support of Playing for Change Foundation.

OYC High School students and @touchingmiamiwithlove youth were suited up for a powerful day of learning with the @miamibeachfire and @miamifirerescue and @mdcfireacademy . Through hands-on activities—from carrying fire hoses up and down stairwells to targeting water streams—they gained a deeper understanding of fire safety, teamwork, and emergency response.
This enriching experience exposed our youth to new career pathways, sparked curiosity, and helped them look ahead to what’s possible in their futures.
