At OYC Miami, civic engagement is more than a value; it’s part of our mission to build stronger, informed communities. Through our ICE initiative, we empower students and families to understand their rights, exercise their civic duties, and become active participants in shaping their future.
Whether it’s casting a ballot, attending a town hall, or learning how local government works, civic involvement fuels our Education, Economic Stability, and Family Services pillars.

The 𝓖𝓲𝓿𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓢𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓷 is here, and OYC Miami celebrated this past Thanksgiving with the @justjacque.xo Arikape Family with @russell_brooke_realtor and friends, by hosting a Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway at Buena Vista Apartments. 🦃🍂🧡
OYC Miami partners Joined Development to offer valuable services to the residents, and for the past two years, persons have received Thanksgiving baskets filed with food and dry goods donated and prepared by the Arikape Family with Russel Brooke and friends, which will help make their Thanksgiving extra special.

This Thanksgiving, we are filled with gratitude, and blessings. Thanks to the generosity of our donor @c.i.ff along with other sponsors the 26th Annual 33 Thanksgiving Giveaway reached more persons than ever before, as we expanded to deliver Thanksgiving meals and hope across South Florida to more than 2000 families.
With rising cost of living and growing community need, this tradition continues to offer more than just food it provides comfort, assistance and connection during the holidays. 💙
