OYC Miami is deeply grateful to City of Miami Chairwoman Christine King, the Fishing and Conservation Trust, and the Reward Fishing Fleet for giving our youth the opportunity to set sail for an unforgettable fishing adventure. Out on the open water, our young anglers spent the day reeling in and releasing fish, learning about marine life, and exploring the importance of protecting our oceans.

This hands-on experience allowed our youth to see the beauty and excitement of fishing while also understanding the value of conservation. Guided by knowledgeable crew members, they learned fishing techniques, gained insight into the delicate balance of marine ecosystems, and experienced the thrill of a successful catch.

Opportunities like this go beyond recreation—they spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage our youth to explore the world around them. Thanks to our incredible partners, our young people are discovering new horizons and learning to “sea” the possibilities as they sail toward new heights.
