Young men from OYC Miami came together for our annual Band of Brothers Summit, the culminating event of our year-long signature male program. This gender-specific initiative provides a strong, supportive environment where young males can learn, grow, and express themselves while building meaningful mentorship connections.
The Band of Brothers program runs year-round, and the summit brings it all together—uniting community leaders, role models, and business professionals to empower our male youth and strengthen mentorship ties.
This year’s theme, iAscend, guided a powerful day of growth and discovery. Our young men participated in sessions exploring The Power of Expression, The Soul of a Man, and Health and Hygiene. They also learned the practical skill of tying a tie, while discussing how looking and feeling their best can impact confidence, opportunities, and personal presentation.
We extend our deepest gratitude to this year’s sponsors—AshBritt, Miami-Dade County, The Carrie Meek Foundation, City of Miami, The Children’s Trust, The Miami Foundation, and United Way Miami—for recognizing the importance of male mentorship. Your support helps us nurture the potential of young men and guide them toward pathways of success, leadership, and self-discovery.
