Seventeen of our high school scholars from OYC Miami took flight—figuratively—during a powerful and eye-opening visit to the Air Expo at Opa-Locka Airport. ✈️⛅️

From standing beside aircraft on the tarmac to speaking directly with aviation professionals, our students immersed themselves in the exciting world of flight, engineering, and aerospace technology. The experience sparked curiosity, inspired questions, and opened their minds to future careers that may have once felt out of reach.

More than just a field trip, this was a day of exposure and exploration—one that reminds our scholars that their futures are not limited by what they’ve seen, but expanded by what they’re now empowered to dream.
