Superhero students from the Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine had a super time at the March Super Saturday event. It is important for our kids to nourish, not only their minds, but also their bodies, and with the help of Eat Well Exchange, our kids prepared a delicious black bean wrap.
The exciting day continued with student volunteers from Miami Dade College, who helped our young scholars prepare vision boards. Our superstar students selected images from newspapers and magazines, that they envision for their future selves. Yet, the day did not end there…as the Miami Dade College student volunteers donated school supplies, PPE items and hygiene products for our children.
