Overtown Youth Center continues to thrive in helping parents and families achieve their career goals through our banking training! We congratulate our UnidosUS graduates, who embarked on their banking career journey on December 9th at the Center for Black Innovation. Our success is made possible by the support of our local banks and partners; Bank of America, Chase Bank, Regions Bank, Apollo Bank, Northern Trust, Karmic Currency, Bank United, The Akin Project, OneUnited Bank, and the Miami Real Estate Group. The plethora of resources provided by the aforementioned partners continues to help our adults thrive and succeed to empower themselves, their communities and their families.
OYC launched its Financial Services Program in July 2021 through funding support from UnidosUS. The focus of the six week program is on enhancing job readiness and knowledge for individuals interested in transitioning into careers in banking and related fields.
